Anyone in US take delivery of '25 G550?

Wondering about the "assistance" systems if anyone could indulge my curiosity!

- If the speed limit warning is automatically turned on for us Americans
- If turning off LKA is still a button on the lower left side of the dash you press to hold
- If you can set the individual mode to have those things off, or you need to dig into menus to turn each off individually?

Cheers

No you can set to off, visual or visual plus sound. Speed limit warning can only go as high as 5 MPH over.

You can disable via the quick-access button - button with a picture of the Wagen on it. So different but easy.

You can setup individual profiles to do all this. Just pick the profile at startup.

Appreciate your reply, thank you seems like nothing too much of a pain with the newer generation versus the last one

Can the individual config itself include things like auto start stop, speed limit warning, and LKA, so changing to that mode turns them all off, or are those 3 things needed to be turned off individually independent of your own personal individual mode?

Everything except auto stop/start can be configured. It’s on at start but you can turn it off by pressing the button next to the start button. Auto stop/start is significantly different than any ICE car, the mild hybrid system makes it almost unnoticeable. I would give it a try. The Wagen starts in electric mode which makes it really hard to notice and turning off it kinda coasts to off - it’s very well done.

The Wagen always starts in comfort drive mode.
