Biased, but the LeTech rack I had on my 550 and now G63 is just fantastic, really alters the overall look of the G, plus can carry anything. Love the ladder. Quality is off the charts, It is now standard on the 4x4
I've picked up a LeTech roof rack in Austin, TX but it doesn't have the lower mounting bracket where the bottom of the ladder attaches to the vehicle. It also doesn't have the six pieces that are inserted on the roof to attach to the rack. Also missing the six bolts that are screwed in from the rack to the roof. Anyone know where to order these parts from?

I just have the rack & mounts. Did not purchase a ladder.
I purchased the rack just to use my Thule cargo carrier. Used once. Now I have a set of cross bars though I did like the look of the rack on top. But would never use it. Rack came with everything needed to install.
LeTech is asking for around €800 for the ladder including shipping. The only way to get the lower mounting bracket is to buy the ladder, as they won't sell me just the part. wagonparts has it for $690.

Well that pricetag seems commensurate with the price of the entire rack if that's any consolation. Also that machined piece that glues to the door is a spectacular piece of machined aluminum art and can't have been cheap to make, again maybe small consolation...
PS when you finally get it, LeTech specifies a particular adhesive made by Wurth. It works amazingly well and was still removable when I transferred rack from my 550 to 63...

The dealer did it, but what they told me is they used 80lb test fishing monofilament and it cut right through. I saw my G550 trade-in afterwards and sure enough there wasn't a trace.
I'm about to find out myself: I'm going to sell the G63 and therefore will have my Letech rack for sale soon. Will post a formal classified when I get organized but I figure I'll be asking around $5K, local pickup in Tidewater/Hampton Roads Virginia.

I'd be surprised if there was a bigger rack than this on any vehicle, its pretty huge. No guarantees without knowing exactly how it anchors, but I can't imagine it wouldn't work
