Switched Power Source Need Help
Hi everyone. I have a Jammer installed and a Valentine 1 Radar detector. My mechanic is trying to find a switched power source so when you start the car it goes on and when you turn it off it goes off. Since this is a hybrid assist, he currently has the driver side panel and wiring going to the footwell fuse. The passenger side he has the detector going on the right side foot well. When they are both plugged in it seems to be on the same circuit and power cycles every few minutes. If I unplug the detector then the jammer works fine and doesn't overload the amperage. Does anyone know another power source I can use on each side of the fuse panel?
