Anyone with 285/45/22 Toyo AT3s on a 25 G63?

Hi Everyone:

We just took delivery of our 25 G63 and are working through the initial steps to personalize the truck. Our plan was to install Toyo Open Country AT3s in 285/45/22 as they seemed to work (even if just barely) on the w464s, but I have seen a few posts about the liners being different on the w465. We don't want rubbing, even if only on full lock.

Has anyone installed these tires with success as of yet? If not, I might be the guinea pig, but would prefer to have fewer tire irons on the monoblocks if possible.

Thanks in advance.

Did you ever get these installed? Curious how they look on the truck.

I ended up going with Ridge Grapplers in the above size. No fitment issues, ride is stocklike and the look is greatly improved.

Looks great. Same 285/45R22 size? Looks like Recon Grapplers instead of Ridge Grapplers. I was eyeballing those but in 305/40R22. Slightly shorter, but fatter. Is ride, handling, and noise on par with the factory tires?

My bad—yes, Recons in 285/45.

I have been really impressed by them. Full disclosure, the stocks came off with 250 miles on them. But, having driven the OE low pros on other w463a+s, the ride is the same if not better. No road noise or mud-tire freeway whirling.

Nice! That is stock height correct? Thinking of doing the same thing but will get some more mileage out of OE tires before swapping them out.

Yep—stock height. All in all, I have been pleasantly surprised with the Recons.
