Is there a way to bypass PIN screen on start up?

Hi all,

When I get in my G, I'm prompted to enter the Mercedes Me PIN. Is it possible to bypass this step? I ask because I don't see a way to.

yes. it goes away after a few minutes or once you start driving. even if you have apple carplay set up, that screen will disappear if you choose not to enter your pin.

Thanks a bunch. Regarding Carplay, I don't use it.

I think it is called access protection, perhaps something like this:

On my G I have a profile in the Merc app and I turned on synchronization of my profile truck menu. When I get in the truck it knows that it’s me through my phone I’m guessing? Alternatively you can do like above and just turn off the protection.
I like having it because if someone else like a valet, mechanic, friend, GF drives the truck and messes with settings, when you get back in your profile loads and everything goes back to the way you like it. Unfortunately you still have to hold down the memory 1 button for the seat/steering wheel position, but that’s not the end of the world.

Cheers,
