Air Conditioner Recirc Issue
On my 2021 G63, when the AC is set to Auto and the recirculation hold button is off (no red light), after the cabin cools down, the recirc feature disengages and then reengages, and constantly does so over and over as evidence by change in the sound and pitch of the air coming through. The only way to stop this is to activate the Recirc button (red light on).

That's a common quirk with the Auto mode. It's constantly trying to balance the cabin air with fresh air. When recirc is off, it's just doing what the computer thinks is best. If you want a steady sound, just keep the recirc button on. It's not really a fault, just how the system operates.

How is this is a common problem? Have there been others that have complained about the same thing? I find it hard to believe that Mercedes would engineer such a poor system.

Many owners report the same frustration. It's not that the hardware is bad, but the activation process through the Payvia website and app is poorly designed and not user-friendly. You are definitely not alone in finding this needlessly complicated.
