I don't install front plates on any of my cars, even though I live in CA and state law requires it. I've been ticketed a few times while my cars were parked, but I just pay the fine for the "fix it" ticket. I look at it as a "vanity" tax...

The version we purchased, the Bozzmount MG, was reasonably easy and not overly time consuming to install. The leveler helped ensure a good result. Their Successful Fitments List is a bit clunky to view and use, in my opinion; you will find years and models for the G on pages 319-323.
We have a ‘25 63 and have used the holder since late spring with zero issues. Hope this helps and that you have a wonderful holiday season!
