Dog guard for 2019-2024

My dog goes everywhere with me. (Obligatory pictures attached)

A few times I've walked back to find her in the drivers seat. While funny (German Shorthaired Pointer in her German car), I'd rather her not! All my past vehicles have had these great dog fences but I'm having a near-impossible time finding one for the G550. I've settled on the Kleinmetall / Masterline 20300177.

G Wagen Parts stocks it, but I've been having a very difficult time having them get back to me.

The official manufacturer refuses to ship to the US, at any price!

I figured I'd reach out here to see if anyone else was interested. Maybe then we'd be able to convince someone to freight us a few.

Im surprised there is not a cargo cover with a retractable net divider. This is what I have in my eclass wagon. Yours has the hook receivers in the headliner so there must be something...but I dont see oem for the newest body.

It looks like this is available at various places.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately my dog made short work of that one!

I seldom haul my dog in my G, but when I do, I put him in a large kennel. Saves claw marks on the seats and sills, and chuff smears on all the glass. Also keeps him safer than wandering through the cabin unrestrained.

Thanks! I had a similar one. With the mesh sides, the dog can easily climb right around. I appreciate the suggestion though!

I was finally able to find someone at Kleinmetall to let me handle the US import process. I have one being palleted and shipped to me here in NY.

My dog hangs out in the car with me while I work. Other people have different setups but this has worked for us in all past vehicles. Often times vehicle is stationary, windows open (and rear hatch open) I appreciate the feedback and suggestions.

I’ll share some pics when it arrives and gets installed!

I know I am the only one who cares - but my dog fence arrived today from Germany and I am very excited to install it. It looks to be very very nicely put together!

That looks fantastic, what a great clean fit. I have not got another dog since my greyhound passed away a few years ago, but I am always thinking about it.... This will be perfect to keep the dog safe.

Notice you are in Maine, I am in Massachusetts. Oh and that Land Rover.... Love it!!! I used to be part of a Land Rover club in Northern California before moving back to New England.

Cheers Angus! I appreciate the kind words and agree, the fit is perfect!

Enclosed is a picture of the happy passenger. Consider it encouragement to get another dog

Thanks for the photo and the encouragement. To be honest German shorthaired pointers are on my list - first is likely another greyhound, but I love Irish Setters as well, and the pointer is third.
