Ah, yeah that is a big f up for MBZ. Quite embarrassing I'd say. A remote flash could fix that probably so the sound system isn't a dependency. If they cared lol. But on the positives that engine sounds pretty strong and they won first in class for GTD in their AMG GT3.

 

There was a forum post a couple years ago by an owner who upgraded his speakers, and the impedance change sensed by the entertainment system domino'd all the way to ECU and crippled the vehicle. I guess German engineers figure that if you can't listen to polka music while driving, why bother.
