Anyone watch Bugonia? She has a G580 (grille and Design Box), but it has G63 exhaust tips. Or its a G63 with a G580 grille and Design Box.

Anyway, whats important is that it looks amazing. The front end without the bull guard and the rear with the design box.

I've always disliked the tire carrier. It's heavy AF, eats up visibility, and has no practical purpose. The Design Box looks awesome. It's slim and can store jumper cables, flares, first aid, etc etc. It's the perfect option so you're not fully naked. The rear door imho looks cheap without something there.

Has anyone with a G63 gone with a Design Box? Is there anyone out there that makes a storage/design box type thing that mounts to the OEM holes?

Thinking about the difficulties in changing things either way, my guess is that’s a G580 with an AMG badge on the back, a rim change, and some fake exhaust tips attached to the bottom.

I haven’t watched the movie but the tell tale sign is in the second picture the rear wheel fender looks to have a break in the light line suggesting a hole which would be a G580 thing.

 

I respectfully disagree, G580 does not come with a tow hook or a chrome ring around the front grill. Also the front brake disks are huge AMG sized and the horizontal slats in the front bumper large air intake for the cooling of oil radiators and the non flush upper moulding on the windshield from pre 2025 are all telltale signs of a pre 2025 G63.

 

Good points. I didn’t think of a pre-2025 as I figured it was either a current G580 or G63.

Either way it’s a very odd G and interesting to wonder how it ended up like it did.
