Brake disc and pad are wear items, and the OEM replacement costs on a W463A G63 AMG are no joke. Instead of pouring money into stock replacements over and over, we convinced the owner to go the carbon ceramic one.

Swapped in a full set of carbon discs paired with ceramic-specific pads, and the difference is massive:

• Way less unsprung weight (you feel it in the handling immediately)
  
• Brake performance is sharper and more consistent
  
• Long-term? Probably saves money vs. repeated OEM part replacements
  

If you're planning to keep your G long-term, it's a not bad option.
