Looking for some input on the A6 service (60k miles / 6-year interval). I have a 2021 G63 with only 37,000 miles. My weekly driving is light, about 25–50 miles.

I’m seeing a massive pricing delta: the dealership quoted $2,800, while a local AMG specialist quoted $600–$700. The independent shop suggested skipping the spark plugs to avoid potential damage to the coil boots.

Since I took delivery in Jan 2021 (late 2020 build), the truck is technically hitting the 6-year time interval despite being well under the mileage. The dealer has handled everything up to this point. What would you do in this spot?

That’s over a $2000 difference. Are you sure it the exact same service? Minus doing the plugs?

Id go with the Indy shop, and not just because of the money.

 

Do you have a copy of the service interval sheet from WIS?

 

I received another quote from a different independent shop also specializing in AMG's for $1,250 including the spark plugs. attached is everything included in the indie service and what MB's 50k/5 year service.

 

Could you PM me the name of the shop with the $1,250 quote? That’s a really good price if they’re doing both diff fluids

 

$1250 is a great price for this bundle of services, if you're confident the shop does 1st class work.
