While reversing out of the garage, the side mirror hit the edge of the garage and the mirror dismounted. The dash is now throwing an error but the blind spot assist light seems to be working.

I need some help in understanding how to remount the mirror glass on the housing. I couldn't find any videos online. Does anyone know how to do this?

I myself have never taken off the mirror, however I am thinking about swapping my mirror caps for carbon fiber and have watched several videos about removing the caps and one guy removed and reinstalled the actual mirror. The circle with the clips on the mirror backing should line up with the other circle inside the mirror housing. Should just snap together.

 

Thank you I just put the mirror back and it also moves up and down when i adjust it.

Now the indicator won't turn on and the turn signal flashes quickly on the driver dash. I checked all the wiring i could and they all seem to be in place. any ideas what else i could do to get the signal working?

 

Did you make sure the plug for the mirror turn signal is pushed in all the way. Check the wires at the plug
