The electronic system turn off and than turns on. This has happened twice.

As I am driving, the Nav. and Audio system shuts off. And than turns on a second later.

 

A similar thing happened to me about a week ago, but the system wouldn't come back on until I switched off the car and turned it back on. But this is only the second or third time it's happened in three years.

 

Under warranty? take it in they will flash the audio/command/sound
9 times out of ten that will fix it, if not better hope you have warranty or just dont care haha

 

It seems that the COMAND screen will every so often dim and then come back on. But only when im not driving. I thought at first it wa s a weak bttery to giving enough power to the screen, but with all for seat heaters at full power, they didn't automaticly shut off like they do if there is low voltage. So it must be due to a defect in the screen.

 

Have you had the alternator checked?
