Will the G class get the 6.3AMG?.
Hello i was wondering wether the G class would get the 6.3 natuarally aspirated engine or Mercedes Benz are going to keep the G class with the 5.5 supercharged engine?.

OK - I'll say that I think that it will get both the 6.3L motor and the 7-speed transmission at some point in the future.
But it's just a guess...and it probably won't happen.

I doubt it because of the limited production numbers and the lack of torque compared to the 5.5L SC engines. The old 5.5L V8 fits the G better IMO because of the torque and that intoxicating noise it makes. The G is keeping the old 5L V8 in G500 form too so I don't see the new generation V8s making it into our old friend before he expires in 2010 or so.
