E55 Wagon or G55... What to do?

E55 Wagon or G55... What to do?
E55Wagon vs. G55... Which one & why?

Unfortunately, since buying an '04 CLK55 Cabriolet last year, I am hooked! Now, a "normal" E500 Wagon or G500 won't do! I'm just torn as to which one to get next, so I'm asking for your thoughts!
'05 E55 Wagon, 22K, CPO, Silver/Charc, all options but tire pressure gauge & phone. $57,000
'05 G55, 16,000, Silver, Charc, no chrome brush guard, chrome light guards, $76,000 (non-CPO)
I test drove a G55 & absolutely loved the power & sound! Is it as "practical" for me? Not really, but I've always loved the styling of the G500 & now this G55 beast is pretty awesome!
I love wagons for their versatility. And then to have a sleeper like the E55 wagon is fantastic. It's much more practical, but probably not as "stylish" as the G-wagon.
My primary vehicle is an '04 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8. Gets about 15mpg city & 18 on the highway. I love it & will continue to have this as my daily driver at about 30K miles a year.
But I'm looking for something for longer drives... the ones where I'm on the road for an hour or more at a time. We have a ranch that I have to do a freeway commute to. (No need for any off-roading capabilities as the Jeep is fine on the dirt roads... plus I have an H1 for the really fun stuff - think that's why I love the G55!)
Don't know if there are any tax advantages to one over the other, always have the thought of resale value in the back of my mind, and just wonder if these seem like fair or good deals?

I had a G500 and loved it but the thing would be far from my first choice for long journeys. Rides like a truck, high centre of gravity and awful MPG on the hwy as it's shaped like a brick. This meant the range was poor despite the big tank and fill ups frequent which was a pain. Since you already have an SUV I'd go for the E55 wagon for sure.
If I were to have only one vehicle and not leave town much (offroading excepted of course) the G55 would be my choice but it seems that that's not the case with you. The only other question is if you have bad weather where you live, which would of course tip the balnce in the Gs favor.
Finally, buying a car which is 76k and forced induction without warranty is a terrible idea. Go for the wagon.
