I think its just has a upgrade to get a couple more HP out of it 455hp-493HP

These changes were made for the 2007 SL-Class which also got a similar power increase...not sure what was changed.

MB tweaked the ECU and that is all. These engines have so much untepped potential.....these engines are almost "de-tuned" at the factory. takes the likes RENNtech to release the power.
