What tuner options can I upgrade the G55 w/o voiding the warranty? I know the ECU would void it, but what other packages from Brabus or Karlsson could I use?

ECU tuning will not void the warranty...... at least ours won't. We write the software so that it remains invisible at the dealer level.

We have tested and retested our stealth technology on my own SL55... it has been into the dealer multiple times for warranty work and they have never said anything! As long as you don't brag to your service advisor about the tuning and performance, your warranty will be fine.

I have the RENNtech power package 3 on my 08 G55, larger pulley, headers, ECU, and I also upgraded the intercooler system.

I have had no issues with the dealer to date, also have you read the RENNtech warranty policy? Seems as if anything happens due to there product you are covered.

Try Renntech.
I had a lot of problems with cracked Kleemann headers in my '05 G55.
They always seemed to fail soon after their warranty expired and I was stuck with the cost of replacement.
Also ,if they fail under warranty,you are still stuck with the labor (quite extensive and expensive) for installation.
If the mods are done by your dealer you should not have any issues with MB,unless...

Unless your dealer hires a new service manager who is stupid enough to notify MB about the mods in your car and they yank your warranty and stick you with "status 8" (no coverage)
That happened to me with the SL,should've sued their **** but luckily survived till the end of the lease last month and returned the car to MB.
