I put the 285's on my truck and absolutely love how it looks. I agree that the 255 would definately look to skinny on the G. Congrats on the truck!!! What color did you purchase?

I picked up my truck today , I had the pirelli snow and ice put on. I thought the ride quality felt no different than the stock tires , I also did not notice much of a difference in looks. I also had a stealth radar install and had the brush gurard, side steps, lamp guards, tire cover powder coated in matte black, and the grill and star painted in gloss black. The truck looks much better than stock with all the chrome.. I will post pics tomorrow.

I installed vredestien 265-55-19, and they perfom really well in snow.
