G55 reliability?

This question is for those who've had a G55 for a long time. Have you experienced any major problem with it? I feel like the car is bullet proof.

Thoughts? Opinion? Feedback?

Just purchased 5th G55

I just purchased a White/White (yeah, used to think they looked like an Ambulance) 2010 G55.

I have had
2002 G50
2005G55
2006G55
2008G55
and now the 2010. I have blown a few tail lights, license plate lights and NEVER have had an mechanical issues with a G.

The G55 is rock solid... but sometimes you get key scratches on your doors from liberal tree huggers.

4 times in 4 months.

Funny you mention that.... I'm in LA and my daughter has to do community service for her school so we chose a great organization that plants trees in different neighborhoods. Well, I drove my (Thank God 2008 G55 ) to drop her off and she would spend the day with her friends and a few parents... when I drove up I say probably around six Prius's and they all looked at me like I just ran over a Spotted Owl, clubbed a baby seal and wearing a mink jump suit... First thing they asked me was, "IS this running on Bio Diesel" and I had to be honest and say, "Why YES IT IS!!!"

Like I said, I have had 1 G500 (2002) and 4 G55's and they have been great...
I just got the White/White and after I put on the HRE's I will take a few pics...

The only problem you'll have with any of the G models would be the petrol bill, but if thats not an issue, then they are truly bulletproof. They have not earned the reputation they have by breaking down all the time.

I do an average of 10mpg. Even if it did 5, I wouldn't care. I love the car too much.

Yeah, I think I'm going to redo my interior with Sequoia wood and bald eagle leather seats.

Pre 2005 had transfer case control problems...
2005+ seems to have corrected the electronics...

I've owned a 2003 G55 from 2004-2009, and a 2005 G55K from 2009 to present...
