Went to the dealer to get some matts for my G500 and they wanted almost $1000 for the set that came with the car oem. I decided i would just go with the lighter cloth mats from the G55 which say AMG on them since i was told there under $150 dollars does anyone know the part number for these since the dealer cant find them themselves.

Yes sir i did got the G wagon bug always had it just needed to get it out of my system! Well the G replaced my new Tacoma TRD which is now for sale if you know anyone that wants one! When you getting your G55??

John do you work at MB? If so they said these matts were on national backorder is this true?

Yes, but I wasn't at work when I pulled the part# so I was unable to check. I doubt they would lie to you about this though. MB seems to be having an ongoing issue with their supply chain of floor mats. I will check for you and let you know.
