I was a bit worried about possible damage to the wheel bearings, but my dealer tells me that these H&R 30mm spacers are TÜV certified for the W463 (G-Class) and they have customers who have had them installed for many years without any ill-effects.

This is exactly what I got:

It 'appears' from the pics that your wheels are now pushed out past the wheel arches. Is this correct?

No, it's not available in any market (even outside the US) for the G-Class. Only the "Edition 79" comes in this color for the 2010 model year, but maybe that will change in the future. What you can get is Designo Platinum Magno which is a slightly darker color and is available on the 2010 G-Class worldwide, but with an extra charge of about $2k. Crappy iPhone pictures attached.

Almost even in the back, and a little further out in the front because the front wheel arches are slightly narrower than the rear. My guess is a 20mm spacer on either side would be just perfect, but I couldn't find something available designed for the G-Class that had all the desired approvals/certification.

The 2009/2010 G55 now uses 275/55R19 tires instead of 285/55R18. Yokohama doesn't have a suitable tire in this new size...in face there are very limited choices.
