Vibration Problems

A few hours ago i picked up my 2009 G55 from the dealer that was in for a vibration issue. Starting about 1-2 months ago i had been experiencing EXTREME vibration throughout the whole car around 40+MPH. Today after picking up my car, i was told that the problem was happening because of flat spots on the two front tires. I couldn't understand how this was possible considering all 4 tires are pretty new with only about 1,000 miles on them, and the car is daily driven. Apparently flat spots happen from potholes as well. Around my area there is quite a few deep potholes so maybe that could've done it. They ended up balancing all 4 corners and switched the fronts to the rear. I didn't had any issues on the drive back so hopefully it wont happen again. Anyone experience the same issue?

I test drove two different 2008 G55's and I found both of them had vibration issue's but that was at about 80mph. Both had new tires that where not oem. The vibrations where not extreme like what you experienced.

I would take your truck to the shop that you bought your tires from and get them to replace the two bad tires!

I am running OEM tires so it really shouldn't be an issue. I do agree with you, but i don't think they will take the tires back considering i have driven on them for about 1-2,000 miles already.

There might be a issue with that brands tires. They could have had a bad batch! It's worth a shot.

If its determined that flat spots are the culpret you should insist they either take them back or offer you credit toward replacement.
