Changes in the G55 over the years?
More to the point the W463. I was wondering what minor changes where made over the years, specifically from 2000-2003.

The 2002 G-Class has a totally new interior, COMAND system, traction control, BAS, 4ETS, transmission from the S-Class, new way to engage low/high range, better stereo, etc.
The 2000 has the same interior as the 1991 G-wagen and S-Class. As far as off-road capabilities go, they are the same so you can save money that way. If you are mostly planning on using it on-road and care about interior features...you want a 2002 or newer.
In 2003, they added binkers to the mirrors like the other MB models, harmon/kardon sound system option, and parktronic.
