The UK Spec version of the G Class has a rear seat entertainment option. Does anyone know if that can be retrofitted into a 2010 G Glass from North America?

PG 42 of this Brochure (Big PDF, be warned) shows the system.

I'd love more information although it seems adding an iPad or two would probably be cheaper in the long run. But still curious nonetheless.

 

This is an option available on all 2011 G-Class vehicles, not just those in the UK. Retrofitting is not straightforward. What may be a better option is the new Mercedes iPad Interface Plus that was announced this week and will be available at the end of the month...though it's not clear if it's compatible with the G-Class:
