Picked up a couple of the new Mercedes iPad entertainment kits to install in the G55:





Installed without any problems and works perfectly. Great idea for passengers / children.

Here's some info that may be of assistance if your MB dealer is not sure what to order (there are two kits available depending on the type of wiring harness you require):

Apple iPad 2R Docking Station Plus for rear compartment

Is this kit compatible with all three generations of the iPad?

It's designed for the iPad2 and upwards so the iPad1 won't fit.

Does it integrate with the in car audio system at all; or just provide power?

It doesn't integrate into the audio / command on the G55, however I think it does integrate on the new ML. In the G55 it charges the iPad only.
