2011 G55 Front Grill Guard

2011 G55 Front Grill Guard
Looking into purchasing a 2011 G55 from my local dealer. I'm in the US, and the dealer tells me that the front grill guard is not standard on the 2011's, is this true? I thought it was.

As far as I know and the for the US market, the brush guard was and still is standard on all G-class models (G500, G550, G55 and G63). It continues to be on 2012 and 2013 models.
The rear light guards and front top signal lights (the ones on the hood) were standard up to 2010 models. Deleted for 2011+.
No guards at all for Europe, not sure for ROW.
