What is this thing?
I just got a used G55 and it has something mounted in front of the rear view mirror. Any idea what this is? My old G Wagon didn't have it. Photo attached.

99 ML430, 01 CLK55, 07 R63, 15 E63 Wagon
It's the sensor for the auto windshield wipers.
