Mud/off road tires for G63?
I am in the process of ordering a G63 (matte silver, black rims, grey/black leather diamond stitching, and piano black wood) and was curious what might be available for off-road tires. I have a ranch and will actually take this vehicle off-road.
Thanks!
Thanks!

The best all around off road tire that will fit without any problems would be the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2 in P275/60R20. These are not the best in thick mud, but an incredible tire all around. Great for snow/ice, very tough sidewalls...
Alternatively BFG All Terain T/A KO in LT285/55R20.
I you are looking for max performance off road M/T tire I would recommend going to 18" rim and you'll have lots of great options depending on what the priority for the conditions you are looking for. 20" just doesn't have a lot of sidewall. If you want to stay with stock rims - there a some options - but most require either wheel spacers ( for wide tires) or spring spacers ( for tall tires)
For M/T tires on stock 20" I posted this in another thread:

The Grabbers would be LT315/50R20 for the G63 rims They wouldn't be too tall ( only 32.4" - fits nicely). The width of this size is the main issue. I was running 34.7/11.8" wide tires on my G55 with H&R 30mm spacers and taller springs, but still rubbing a full turning radius with tire sidewalls against headers. ( not sure if G63 has more room in wheel well) I was planning on trying the 35/12.5R18 next with a different offset rim.
Street drivability will be much worse than stockers. Humming noise at highway speeds, harsher ride, longer breaking distances and slightly worse mpg. The Grabbers for the G63 would weight 80lbs each - huge increase in weight below springs - ride will go to ****! But much better off-road
Max highway speeds usually around 100mph for M/T - mud terrain tires...
BFG Mud_Terrain T/A KM2s in LT305/55R20 would be slightly narrower and taller - 33.5" ( looks better IMO) and weigh only 65lbs ( still a LOT) - look equally cool as the Grabbers!
Nitto Trail Grabblers MT or Toyo Open Country M/T in LT275/65R20 (34X11.00R20) would have the perfect width but very tall 34.33 - might end up needing spring spacers or taking off your fender liners.
Goodyear has an awesome option too (EDIT - think the best option for the G63!) - Wrangler MT/R with Kevlar in 275/65R20 - these would also be super tall and might require spring spacers as well but not too wide! Look super aggressive in person!
Personally I am deciding between the General Grabbers and Goodyear MT/Rs for my next off-road setup
Any M/T offroad tire in 285/60R20 , 275/60R20 or 285/55R20 should be perfect if you want to accomplish the "rugged" look without any need for spacers I think.

Go Wrangler MT/R with Kevlar in 275/65R20 and get some spring spacers. Or better park your stock rims in the garage and keep them pristine - and get some 18" rims to play with!
But the Bridgestone can do 95% or what a hardcore M/T tire will do, and be great on street/snow/ice as well.
I have driven BFG A/Ts, Bridgestone Revo2s, Nitto Trail Grapplers on the G and think the Revos were the best all around tire - where you truly can go anywhere without sacrificing too much. My next set of tires is going full M/T however my priorities are max off-road - couldn't care less about street performance..

Just wondering what tyres / wheels you ended up with. I've now got a G63 AMG and looking for some offroad options.
I am thinking about the Coopers AT3 all terrains in 275/55R20 but I'm concerned that they might foul the control arms on full lock.
Thanks

Off road tires for AMG G63 confirmed
I have been doing research, and found little information online or calling the dealer for what options there are for putting offroad tires on a G63. I have a 2015 G63 and just put on a set of bridgestone T/A KO2's. I had to go from the stock size of 275/50/R20 to 275/55/R20, and they fit fine.... no isssues of any kind.
Hope this helps out the next person(s) that are looking for information like I was!

Sorry to bring up an older post. But I just picked up a 13 g63 and I’m looking for something that will be great on the street for daily driving and have the aggressive looks as well. Would prefer 34-35s but open to what will Work and also doing a lift if need be to make them fit. Main goal is drivability on the street with very occainsonal off-roading.

If you do a lift, we suggest going with THOR lift springs and Ohlins shocks, AMAZING COMBO. We run that on a daily G63. As for tires, we suggest going with 305/55/20 and do some 30mm H&R Spacers. This will give the car an aggressive stance as well. Nitto, Toyo, BFG, and General all make some good MT or AT tires in that size. We're going to be trying on a set of 35" tires for SEMA, stay tuned...=)
If you don't lift the G63, go with 285/55/20 or 295/55/20.
Hope this helps...Thank you!

Not able to see the link you sent but if you're looking for an off-road style wheel, we suggest going with some wheels from 463 Industries. www.463industries.com.
We've also attached some images of the wheels. Let us know if you need a price quote.
