My friend is planning on picking up this used G63 for sale from an outside showroom. However we had questions regarding whether the cars paint is the factory designo matte black, also this car has some odd badges and such which you can view in the pictures. Notice the steering badge, the rear G63 and AMG badge being blacked out, the small plaque inside the car. If anyone could just help identify if this is truly a special edition car that features this paint job or if the owner has just added these things.. I have the chassis number if that helps?

Okay I just received news that all the badges were all added by the previous owner, now its just the question if the paint is real designo or if its a foil? Can anyone help?

Ask to see the window sticker if available, for confirmation. If the sticker is not available you can run the VIN through any MB dealer to obtain a printout of the factory specs.

You can usually identify if the color is foil from the inner doors if you open it and look closely, and you can also check the truck area. Good luck
