Will the US get the G55?

We do seem to get all the amg models later... but just wondering if there will be a demand for this kind of car, or if anyone knows any news.

I saw one in the US, 18 months ago, black on black, but I am sure it was imported through the same vendor what has been bringing them in until MB started... recently. They look so damn sweet...
