i am thinking of getting a g55 sometime soon. However i am living in place where it often snows quite thick. does anybody knows how g 55 handles in the snow with the high torque and standard high performance tire.

My G55 sucks in the snow, but's only because of the tires. -Rob

Yeah The G55 is Very Bad in the Snow With its Tires i hit a curb goin 20 on a turn and i had to get my control are replaced and my alimight was off so if i where get snow tires or g500 tires

Like everyone said, just change the tires and it will do just fine. I replaced the factory tires with some Nitto Terra Grapplers and now it goes great in the snow.
