SL55/S55/CLK500
Will the G55 AMG.....
..... affect the 02 G500 value if it comes out in 2003? Also did the ML55 hurt the ML430 when the ML55 came out? Im thinking that it will not affect the value too much. What do you think?

I don't think it will really affect the G500, because the 55 is meant for a slightly different purpose. For the ML - the same is true - the 430 and 55 are meant for different things and different consumers- ML55 is more performance and less offroad. For the G, the difference in purpose is more subtle (because it's still a full-fledged G), but it is still there...At least that's what I think.

The G55 at the NY auto show is bad a$$. It has dual side pipes. Big fat AMG mufflers are located in front of the rear wheels on each side. It looks so tough.

G55 looks pretty f'ing bad ***, especially in dark colours.
i'm not very familiar with the w463....does the G55 have extended fenders as compared to the 500? either way, 500 or 55 they look pretty dope. i kind of like the convertible. reminds of that scene in zoolander where they get orange mocachino's (or something) and have a gasoline fight.
