Interior door panel
I have a 2010 G55 that I need help on. Can anyone recommend a video or location where I can get info on how to remove the interior driver door panel? I'm trying to replace a speaker. I've tried You Tube but have been unable to locate anything I can use.
Thanks for any info you can provide.

It’s pretty easy, there are three medium size Phillips head screws. 0ne behind the plug where the handle to open the door is, one accessed by a hole at the top of the grab handle (underside), and behind another plug under the armrest area of the door panel. Take out the smaller Phillips head screw along the bottom of the map pocket. I’ve seen some years have a screw at the top of the door panel close to the door pin (golf tee. As some say). Depending on model year again you may or may not need to take off the trim surround around the window, which just pulls out. You’ll need to take the door lock pin out which just unscrews. The the door panel can be popped off starting from the bottom and them lifting up to take it off the inner lip of the metal frame. There are two electrical connectors and a S hook for the cable to the latch mechanism. From my experience you might want to get some new plastic retainer clips for the panel, in case they have never been off and due to the age they can break when you go to pry the door panel off. Hope this helps.

Polar, thanks for the info. I guess I just need to not be afraid to break something and move forward. Sorry for my delayed thank you.
