Viewed info on the Internet for the initial release of the, all new 2019 G Class and particularly the G63. Saw there will be an Edition-1 and this morning visited my dealer who has the full configuration database on their computers. Found full data on the Edition-1, except all line item prices are noted as TBD that was expected. But then saw, the only color for the Edition-1 is magna. Many of us do not want the matte finish paints, me included! I was initially excited about an Edition-1 since my GTS is an Edition-1,
I will configure a new G63 with the desired options but unhappy to not be able to order such things as the red painted rim edges, apparently only for Edition-1, in addition to the seats unavailable and who knows what else. A huge mistake by MB, by my thinking to force the matte paint for buyers of any new vehicle!

They are hugely oversubscribed on the Edition 1 and non of the dealers can swap/trade into one of them given the small allocation. I have one on a boat now and will get it in November.
