Anyone could help me with these lights? i purchased them at mygrmanride.com (terrible customer service and no knowledge of products sold) and now I have these lights seating here at home for a week, because I have no clue about the TWO large boxes that need to connect to SOME PLACE not specified.
Please see picture and help. Note, there are two small boxes that WILL connect to the lights wiring, but the TWO BIG boxes with 2 red wires and one black wire...those are the question?
The large red square shaped things are load resistors that you wire in parallel to the lights so you don't get an error code on the dash. You'll have to mount these somewhere behind the tail light, or replace them with a better quality/smaller unit. See the thread below.
