AKRAPOVIČ PROVIDES EXCLUSIVITY WITH LATEST EXHAUST SYSTEM FOR G 63 W463-A

Akrapovič has launched its latest product with the introduction of the Evolution Line (Titanium) Black Edition* exhaust system for the Mercedes-AMG G 63 (W463A). This is the first time the Slovenian high-performance exhaust specialist has produced a system with completely black tailpipes for the car sector.

This exclusive exhaust system, which will be available for limited time only until stockout, has been created using high grade, lightweight titanium alloys, featuring valves on each muffler, with housings cast in Akrapovič’s in-house titanium foundry. The Evolution Line (Titanium) Black Edition exhaust system will come as a complete package including premium look mufflers, the unique black coated tailpipes and an Akrapovič Sound Kit. The exclusivity of the product is borne out through the visual appeal of the distinctive Akrapovič shaped tailpipes, which have a black coating – the first time this has been used in the car segment – and are finished with engraved Akrapovič and Black Edition logotypes. The whole system is coated for an exceptional appearance and increased durability, which also means the exhaust will not change colour due to the heat of the exhaust gases passing through it.

The system – with its pair of exhaust valves situated behind the mufflers to provide control of the exhaust tones – delivers a unique sound that is distinctly deep and sporty, especially during acceleration and shifting. With the included Akrapovič Sound Kit, the driver can open and close the valves at any time from the comfort of the cockpit, giving them a fully inclusive experience. Weight has been reduced through the use of the high-grade lightweight titanium alloys used in its construction, with the Evolution Line (Titanium) Black Edition tipping the scales an incredible 44.5% lighter than the stock exhaust. The whole system is a simple plug-and-play installation and when fitted it is intended for closed course competition use only; it is not meant for street use.
