What is realistic Market value on G55k?
My question is, what would be considered a 'good' or even 'great' deal on one of these? If I was to buy one lets say with 75k miles for $40k, what could I expect to get back in 5 years given it was well cared for etc with average usage in that time.
Clearly this is an open ended question with variables, but just looking for some reasonable guidance. I want to own one within a few years so doing my homework now.
Any input is much appreciated! Cheers!

With all variables being equal, a good condition, clean title, full maintenance record G55k should fall something like this:
With 75k miles in the $42-45k range
With 100k miles in the $40k range
With 125k miles in the $38k range
With 150k miles in the $35k range
With each year newer, tack on a few grand. A 2011 G55k with 50k miles would probably fetch closer to $58-60k given the low miles and the last year of the M113k engine/5spd 722.6 trans combo.
These are all, of course, all of my guesses and what I have seen in trends for the market the past 2 years (not including BAT, which is sometimes just crazy)

since posting and continuing to search, what you’ve stated seems congruent with prices and mileage in examples I’m finding.
it would be awesome to find one that needs some work for a steal below that and bring it back to life myself. I’ll keep my eyes peeled, it would be a lot of fun to document on my channel since it’s not common to find diy’ers working on G wagons.
really appreciate your input, bodes more confidence going forward!
