2004 G55 new alternator and batter yet still “under voltage” help please!
2004 G55 28562 miles drives great, has been kept up very well however, suddenly I’ve started getting orange “under voltage” messages. Replaced the old battery with an Interstate 49h8 battery. Still getting the “under voltage” message. Bought a Bosch alternator from Autohaus, it’s an exact match. My mechanic put it on (he’s reputable and been in business for 30+ years) car is running and showing voltage of 14.7 on the meter. I get in the truck drive it for 10 minutes, orange “under voltage” message illuminates then it gets better! Another 10 minutes of driving and I get a red malfunction light, “Battery/alternator.” I drive 10 more minutes home and park.
New batter, new alternator, good voltage on meter, I’m stumped.
Has anyone had this issue and know of a remedy?
