Hi guys! I’m bout to get my 2022 G63 in matte black finish (exact color: MANUFAKTUR Night Black Magno). I’m just worried about the maintenance/washing on the car. Is it OK to put this car through a car wash? My sales person said it should be fine. What’s the best way to maintain this color? I just want to treat it like an everyday car. Just wanted to make sure.

Xpel Stealth PPF the entire truck. Then you can wash it anyway you like without worrying about messing up the finish.

I paid about $6K CAD for a full PPF, including the roof.

I would not get a Magno finish on this vehicle - way too much maintenance — if you’re **** like me, that is. Cars with PPF are still not recommended for car washes… you can do it, but if you ask XPEL for example they don’t recommend automatic car washes. You will still have exposed paint at the edges of panels, unless you want your installer to remove bumpers, etc [bad idea, unless your installer is really good - and I haven’t met any that are].
So go with Magno and ‘don’t care’, and just get a complete Magno repaint in a few years. Or get another color. Full PPF is a good idea regardless.

I would get the whole thing wrapped in xpel stealth
