I have 23 G63. The exhaust (right side more than left) makes a shuttering hissing noise as I let up on the gas in lower gears. Oddly it does not happen when I put the exhaust in power mode. I didn’t think much of it and actually thought it was normal until I rode in a 2022 G63 and noticed there was no such noise. Wondering if you guys hear the same thing in your wagons or is this something I should to take to the dealer. Thanks for your response in advance.

It's either the exhaust flap that is faulty (you could possibly get a check engine light) or the turbo whistle you are hearing.

I'd suggest bringing it to the dealer for the master tech to verify and possibly replace the exhaust under warranty.
