Fitting W463A (2019+) exhaust on W463 (2013-2018)?

Hi all, can I fit the newer W463A (2019+) exhaust on the previous gen (2013-2018) G63? I looked at the picture side by side and they look the same other than the mounting hardwares.

If you're willing to modify it, I'm sure you can. But it's not going to be an easy bolt-on.

Yea that's what I"m looking for here: 'what kinds of modification do I need to do, if possible". My local shop never done it so I need to do my own research lol.

From what I gathered from other posts, there differences are:
1. width: w463 mufflers are wider/bigger. w463a ones are smaller (needs less clearance). so looks like w463a -> w463 is possible but not the other way around
2. mounting positions: the position of the hangers are different but I think this can be retrofitted/modified.
3. muffler <> downpipes flange connection: w463a uses v-clamps while w463 uses bolts + bracket.
4. valve control: w463a is electronically controlled while w463 uses vacuum lines

I'm noob so I think #1 and 2 should be addressable but need expert members here for more inputs. thanks!!

Just curious to why you're even attempting this? Unless you got a W463A/W464 exhaust really cheap or for free? There are used W463 exhausts that show-up from time to time and even new ones are usually cheaper than the W463A/W464 exhausts.

The W463A/W464 exhaust will be locked to open or closed unless you somehow find a way to control it.

If you need a hook-up for GTHaus, let me know, I have their exhaust on mine:

Sell it, you can get a decent price on it and then buy your friend lunch or dinner.

The G63 exhaust is a great mod for a g550, especially if they have the sport exhaust option so they can use the valve.

it bolts on to the downpipe and all they need to do is buy the g63 exhaust hangers.
