Question Dogs in the trunk options

Hey everyone,
So I had a 2024 G63 and loved it. I sold it because my dogs (german shepherd and golden retriever) went havoc on the trunk and wanted to try another option. I am now hoping and trying as hard as possible to get a 2025 G 63. My question is, do any of you have a kennel of some sort or other dog friendly options in the trunk that don't allow the hair and nail madness take over your vehicle?
The hair I can deal with actually, but the dogs going nuts when they see other dogs and scratching at the rear drives me insane! I had an Escalade V, and had 2 cages that worked great, but wasn't in love with the vehicle so I just sold it.

I realize this is an odd question, but figured this is the best place to maybe find someone with a similar issue and maybe even a fix!

Now, back to the ordering guide trying to decide on a color. Currently loving the deep green and dark olive green magno!

Thanks and hopefully someone can shine some light on this. Regardless, I am going with a 2025 G63, just hoping to solve this issue.

The G is cramped for 2 "full size" puppers. I think Mitt Romney put his kennels up top on the cross-rails. Not sure there's a good solution -- maybe downsize to chihuahuas? (lol).

Quite seriously, we got one of these...one of the big reasons was keeping the dogs safe (and cool) while we are out on the bikes for a few hours.

Makes complete sense. My dogs are only in my vehicles for 10 minutes. I live 6 minutes from my office, and that is where they travel with me. I have worked with some people who have these sprinters customized for dogs, and they are amazing! One woman had an entire tour bus converted for her working dogs to travel all around the US.
