Hey guys - I just got this 2021 G63 and noticed a crack on the inside of the left indicator light.

Upon inspection there is no sign of damage on the outside plastic, it's completely smooth on the outside (even when passing my nail, seamless).

Car is still under 4 year warranty - will this be covered by warranty?

I don't believe so, it would be considered physical damage which isn't typically covered.

 

Took it in today, they saw that the other side has the same crack starting. It's not physical damage as there is no sign of damage externally in any way.

Waiting to hear from them, but they seemed pretty positive about it being under warranty. Will update
