Angry Shattered rear door latch glass due to no apparent reason

My car is a 2025 G63 in south sea blue metallic and it has been standing in the garage for a few days, I leave the garage door open as there is really no need to close it. A few days ago on a moderately hot day at 11.30 AM, it was about 80 degrees outside, the interior monitoring alarm went off. I checked my app and it showed the rear door latch being the problem. I was by the pool so I immediately stopped by the garage, checked the car 360 degrees and everything looked fine with the car. Opened and closed the doors, no issues.

Two days later, we get to the car and I am in the drivers side, started the car while my wife let my son in the back and closed the side door and BAAM!! the rear window shatters and falls off, broken glass everywhere! WTF is this about?

See pictures, the breaking pattern is weird, from the center is the area of the most damage while the edges show a strange breaking pattern as if someone ate through the glass around the edges.

Any idea?
