Hello,
I got an allocation for a custom build, the build is for October and will be locked in 5 days.
I went with Dakota Brown Magno with Machiato Beige full interior and carbon fiber trim on black monos with dark chrome package, i really love it and that's kind of my dream spec but i noticed that the dakota brown and the monos arent popular at all...
Any specific reason?
I'm not a fan of the magno night package that paints the wheel flares and makes it look like a military vehicle thus i went with the chrome package which i think will look fire with the dakota brown magno you can see here

Looks amazing! The AMG Perf Pack is a must! The ride quality from optioning it is to put it bluntly, F’ing AMAZING.
IMO black running boards and exhaust would tie the build together into a masterpiece.
There is a night package available for 2026 that doesn’t require the wheel arches to be painted. I would look into that. It keeps things matte. Dark chrome is shiny. I prefer to stick to matte appearance for matte cars. The monos go with any color and are a must in my opinion. There is also an option for 2026 to add the black running boards and exhaust and I would definitely add that. The only thing you don’t get with the new night package is black emblems which you can order and install yourself afterwards.
I would option the performance package but also add black brake calipers. That’s also a new option for 2026. Red doesn’t look good peaking out from the monoblocks.

Personally, if you're not as worried about resale value, ie, it's a keeper, then buy what you love.
If you're looking for resale value, then the blacks, whites, etc. with black interior is what dealerships want. They think having the most generic build leads to the highest amount of potential customers. In my mind, there are enough customers that there will be at least one like-minded person out there who will love the fact that you have what they want.
I love my Copper Orange Magno G63 so much that I wanted to custom-build another one for 2026, but the color is discontinued.
