AMG Performance Package required for upgraded suspension/handling?

I hear the 2025 model has improved steering and handling characteristics but does that require getting the AMG Performance Package to receive these changes? Thanks!

The AMG Offroad Package PRO or the AMG Performance Package. Both of these upgrade the standard AMD RIDE CONTROL suspension to the more advanced AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension with active roll stabilization.

Without the upgraded package, does the 2025+ drive any different than the 2019 - 2024 G63? I have been looking for new G63s with the package and there are so few for sale with it. So many dealer spec builds have all of the interior upgrades but not this package. Curious to know if there are any ride improvements without opting for this package.

I have it, the car corners great at speed even high speed and the sway stiffens further as you go from comfort, to sport, to sport plus. The active sways keep the car super flat thru the bends and makes it very predictibable. Its not a track star by any means, but if you want to drive the car aggressivley at times you definitley can with confidence. There is 0 leaning over.
