I’ve got a G 63 with the wooden cargo floor, and while it looks great, I’m honestly thinking about getting rid of it. I often carry a lot of luggage and different gear in the back, and I’m always worried about scratching or damaging the wood.
It’s a really nice option aesthetically, but for my use it’s a bit too delicate. If anyone is interested in swapping or buying it, let me know. I’d probably prefer something more practical for hauling cargo.

Yeah, that wood would get destroyed. In my LR4 where all the seats lay down flat and construct a cargo floor, I have thoughts of removing the carpet and put leather down instead. I still want it to look nice but realistically a rhyno liner of some sort would be more scratch resistant but it doesn't look as tight as scratched and warn leather would. Thick full grain leather lined throughout would be sharp and the smell would be toxic.
Did you decide against ppf or similarly coating it ?
If so tell about that . I might be interested in buying it , though as a salmon and steelhead fisher , I might use my G even harder than you

(snooty voice)....."oh, well that scratch over there was when we were putting in a case of Dom Perignon 2008 and the bottom of the Longaberger basket had an edge that was too harsh for my - VERY delicate environment"....
But, you are right, that wooden cover would last about two minutes under my ownership.....
