Thermostat Replacement- ‘26 G63- 2,500 miles
My check engine light came on, so I took it in and they ran it and did some software updating and they said it should have taken care of the light which was on for having a low thermostat. A week later, it came back on so I took it back and they said it’s showing low temp thermostat again, so they said they needed to replace it. They’ve had it over a week now- waiting for the part to come in so they could replace it. Just surprised it’s gone bad already but I know things happen! I love this car so much, I miss it and cannot wait to get it back!

Hi @smitht0789 -- Ugh, that is really unfortunate about the thermostat issues. Hope your G is back in business very soon!
Just curious -- did the Check Engine light come on right when you were starting it up, after you had been driving for a while, or when you were parking and shutting off the engine? Was wondering if there were any common patterns between the times when the light came on in your G.
Hopefully the parts are in by now, or will be before much longer, and you will be behind the wheel again in short order.
