a little barn find of my own, help ID vintage toolset please??
Hi all
Long time MB fan, just getting into a C300 now. I have a toolkit that was left behind in this house when I bought it. It's interesting to note the prior owner was a lotus guy too, as am I, having an Elise and Exige, he had a Seven and an early 80's esprit. Pretty unusual connection, I think it was the car guy garage he built that attracted me He also restored Vintage military trucks so it had huge ceilings.
Anyhow, he left a lot of junk behind, including a cracked Esprit bumper, but this I think is interesting. I was told it was from the 40's or 50's. I'll post them up. Photos show as brown, it's actually light green. No real markings on the bag, but the tools are all marked DIN 895 DOWIDAT and Mercedes Benz on the other side.
Click links please for a larger size. Can anyone help ID these?

Maybe from a Ponton or even earlier? Looks older than the tools in my W111, and I've never seen that spark plug tool before.
